To Us is an offline-first app. Your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers.
Gertjan.com ("Developer", "we", "us") built the To Us app ("App") as a freemium application. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
The App does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on external servers:
All data you enter into the App — including names, dates, relationships, and photos — is stored exclusively on your device. This data is not backed up to any server operated by the Developer. If you delete the App, this data will be removed from your device.
If you use iCloud backup on your device, your App data may be included in your device backup according to Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy.
The App can send you local push notifications to remind you about upcoming milestones. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the App's settings or in your device's system settings.
The App offers an optional one-time In-App Purchase to unlock the full version. All purchase transactions are handled by Apple through the App Store. The Developer does not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles purchase data.
The App does not include any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not use cookies, pixel trackers, or any other tracking technologies. We do not build user profiles or share data with advertisers.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data remains on the user's device and is never transmitted externally. The App is suitable for all ages.
The App does not integrate with third-party services that collect user data. The only external interaction is with Apple's StoreKit for processing In-App Purchases, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
When you choose to export a milestone to your calendar, the App uses the native iOS calendar event editor. The event is added to your device's calendar app. The Developer does not have access to your calendar data.
When you share a milestone, the App generates an image on your device and opens the system share sheet. The Developer has no visibility into what you share or with whom.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
